Emptoris Sourcing Interface

The Emptoris Sourcing user interface displays within your Internet browser. It is divided into two sections:

Note: Since the Emptoris Sourcing can be customized to meet an organization's unique needs, some parts of your application may be different from the application described in this Emptoris Sourcing User Guide. If you have any questions about information not documented in this User Guide, please consult your content Manager or application manager.

Emptoris Sourcing Screen Buttons

Click this button to refresh the current page.

Click this button to return to the home (initial) page.

Click the button to print the current page.

Click this button to view new messages.  This button will briefly change color when a message is received.

Click this button to reduce the size of the menu area.

Click this button to expand the size of the menu area.

Click this button to log out.

Click this button to display the online help.

Click the button if you want to modify table layout.

Click the button if you want to change the order in which items, questionnaires, attributes (properties, fields) are listed.

Click the button if you want to restore the original order in which items, questionnaires, attributes (properties, fields) are listed.

Click this icon if you want to display summary information on the category, supplier, project, or RFx that is listed.

Click this button to delete the currently-selected item.

Click this button to search for an item (RFQ, organization, supplier, and so on). The item type depends on where the button is located. For example, clicking the button in the View Organizations list allows you to search for organizations within that particular list.

Click the folder icons to navigate down through lists of categories, subcategories, and items. When you click a folder it changes to an open folder . Its contents are then displayed in a list below it. To select an item you must first click the folder icon that contains the particular item.

A list can be sorted by clicking one of its column heads. For example, to sort a list by item name, click the Name column. A triangle appears next to the active heading. To reverse the order in which the list is sorted, click the Name column again. The list is reversed and a triangle appears next to the active heading.

Click this button to toggle between displaying the list heading at all times and hiding the list heading as you scroll down the list.

Click this button to maximize the display area of the currently-selected list.

Click this button to expand all items in a list.

Click this button to collapse all items in a list.

Click this button to view more information about the selected item.

Click this button to minimize the selected displayed information.
